[Aijima Cecil’s Solo Interview]
-Even if there we aren't communicating, our bonds are still strong-
Q1: Until today, what is the most memorable thing throughout your career?
A: In my country, idols itself does not exist. Somehow, to work as an idol, it felt strange. Thanks to our goddess Muse’s blessings, I am able to live with songs. As there are so many differences, there are so much of confusion in this world and I failed a lot. However, when it comes to singing for those that are listening, I do not think that there is a difference in the origin of our songs. Realizing this, I have gradually became more familiar in being an idol.
Q2: In overall, what kind of work would you consider difficult?
A: My Japanese was not good at the first time I came to Japan, and I have no dialogue scripts, so it is difficult for me when there are jobs that are heavily requiring speaking. Variety shows are also difficult that very often I get nervous to speak in Japanese. However, I think they are fun and I actually anticipate for more and more things to come.
Q3: Then, anything that makes you feel touched?
A: Applause. When everyone claps sincerely from their hearts for my performances. Though they are simple, but that is what makes me happy the most.
Q4: As a prince from Agnapalace and ended up being an idol, did you have any background experiences that builds up your career?
A: I think I am nurtured to sing in a long run that it helps me to build up my singing skills. Besides, the point that I don’t faze in front of people, I suppose. As a prince, we are placed in a situation where all eyes are on us, so I am used to doing things in front of many people. It sometimes felt like I’d get rewarded when I do things in front of many people! Because it feels like there are so many people are watching you. In Japan, being an idol in Japan and receiving support all over the country, and I’m very thankful of that. That is what I strongly feel.
Q5: As your career has progressed successfully, is there something that you would like to try in the future?
A: There are so much that I wanted to do! There are so many genre of songs that I am interested in but I have not tried. In other works too, even though it is not just myself, but I wanted to be someone that could be relied on! Until today, I have received a lot of help from people, and I wanted to return their favor. I think it is important to make those that we work together to feel joy regardless the work. However, realistically there is a necessity to have a margin, so I’ll work hard to improve little by little. I treasure the harmony with my comrades.
Q6: Since you have talked about comrades, how do you see other members in the Shining Agency?
A: As idols I’d see them as rivals, but privately, I see them as family. Everyone has a different personality that I often think about what I should do. Also there is a need to keep training yourselves with the rivalry. However, we don’t see each other in a bad way and I feel very accepting towards them. I think it’s because of how I was raised in my country. I think I see the members as younger brothers. Of course there are exceptions… Like even if we are not connected through bloodline, we are bond together through our trust.
Q7: Lastly, could you please leave a word for the readers?
A: I am happy that you have heard about me. Aren’t you tired by reading so many words? I wanted to deliver so much more to you in the future, so please be kind to me.

15 Questions with Aijima Cecil
Q1: If compared with the you in the past, what has changed?
A: I am now good in Japanese! I can now write fluently. I’m now trying to memorize many kanji.
Q2: What is your treasure?
A: Japanese-style items. Shuriken or rice containers, I collect them very often. I also treasure the items that other people gave me.
Q3: How many hours of sleep do you gave on average?
A: I don’t really realize how long I have slept. If I feel sleepy, I sleep. If I wake up without work, I would sleep when I like to.
Q4: What kind of pet would you like to have?
A: In Agnapalace, my father had a black panther. The name is Ruu. I was playing with Ruu since I was little and we got really close.
Q5: Which part of your body is your favorite?
A: My green eyes. I like the color a lot. When it receives light, it changes color a little. Also, my sight is good!
Q6: If you were to board a time machine, which would you go to? The past or the future?
A: The future would be good. If I gathered enough of information I would be able to imagine my past, but I can’t do that for the future self. I had strong interest in it.
Q7: If you can be anything for a day?
A: Ninja! I have acted as one on stage, so I think there is a very strong charm on the role. It’s so cool and fantastic!
Q8: What do you do most during your waiting time?
A: I mostly spend my time studying Japanese. I would search and understand the difficult words in m script, including how to read them that I don’t have much time to do anything else.
Q9: What animal would you portray yourself as?
A: A black cat. It is very closely related to me. Such as we like to bask ourselves in the sun, we have many similarities.
Q10: What is your recent trend?
A: Now, I am into onigiri booms (onigiri in shape of spheres)! Before this, I was into kappa maki and made some. The harmony between rice and seaweed is the best!
Q11: What is your favourite ride in an amusement park?
A: Something that everyone could ride on. It’s lonely to go on a ride yourself. I also like rides that makes you feel like you are floating in the sky.
Q12: What is the thing that could recover your interest?
A: When you are really tired, I strongly suggest you to enter a bath with floating roses. In Agnapalace, it has a healing and cleansing power.
Q13: What is the place that you want to visit the most?
A: To feel the four seasons of Japan, I wanted to visit the same place in different seasons. Agnapalace is a country that only has summer, so it is very interesting.
Q14: What is a job to you?
A: A job that could support people’s hearts. I think that a job as an idol is capable of bringing happiness to people.
Q15: What do the fans mean to you?
A: People that shares my soul. Even if we don’t say anything, there are ways for our hearts to connect. That does not change even if we are apart. Our hearts are together.
